DPRD: 2024 Jakarta KUA PPAS Agreed on Rp 81.5 Trillion

The 2024 General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Ceilings and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) was set Rp 81.5 trillion by Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) and Jakarta Regional Budget (TPAD).

It will be deepened after the MoU with the Commissions

Jakarta Banggar DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi said it would be continued with an in-depth discussion at the commission, as well as the signing of an agreement between DPRD and Jakarta Government on August 21.

"The Budget Agency and the executive have completed deliberations on the 2024 KUA-PPAS. It will be deepened after the MoU with the Commissions," he expressed, Wednesday (8/9) night.

He hoped that the Jakarta Government is using the budget as best as possible, especially in completing six priority programs including flood prevention, traffic jam management, poverty alleviation, stunting reduction acceleration, anticipating economic impacts, and strengthening democratic values.

"I ask the Jakarta Government to immediately take appropriate steps in solving flood problems such as those in Jati Padang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. As well as other problems such as handling congestion, poverty alleviation, accelerating the reduction of stunting, anticipating economic impacts, and strengthening democratic values," he explained.

Regarding the problem of flood control in Jati Padang, Jakarta TAPD Chairman, Joko Agus Setyono stated his readiness to mediate with residents around the embankment and seek solutions for residents who do not have proof of legal land ownership.

"We have also consulted the Jakarta BPN Regional Office to find a solution on how to resolve land issues where there is no proof of ownership," he expressed.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) Head, Michael Rolandi Cesnanta Brata explained the projected revenue for 2024 by Rp 72.32 trillion, consisting of Rp 52.36 trillion for Regional Original Income (PAD), Rp 19.25 trillion for Transfer Income, Rp 722.12 billion for Other legal Regional Revenues.

"As well as from Financing Receipts Rp 9.23 trillion, consisting of the previous year's unused fund (SiLPA) by Rp 3.82 trillion and Regional Loan Receipts by Rp 5.41 trillion," he explained.

He added spending posture with a value of Rp 71.81 trillion was projected for Operational Expenditure by Rp 58.84 trillion, Capital Expenditure by Rp 11.47 trillion, Unexpected Expenditure (BTT) by Rp 1.17 trillion and Transfer Expenditure by Rp 318.31 billion.

"And financing expenditures by Rp 9.76 trillion consisting by Rp 7.90 trillion Regional Equity Participation (PMD), and Rp 1.86 trillion of debt principal installment financing," he closed.
